Start times Walkers start 08:30am 

Mass start men and ladies together for prizes 09:00am 

Rolling start 09:05 – 09:20am 

Walkers are asked to collect their numbers at 07:45AM and are requested to walk on the left. 

Finish: Belper Meadows Sports Centre, Bridge street, Belper DE56 1BA

Parking: At the race HQ for a small charge, cash only.

Bag drop: There is no bag drop. Please arrive ready to race

Changing rooms, showers & catering are available at race HQ /Finish.

Feed Stations: There will be Three water stations located at approximately 7 , 11 & 15 miles Final details for the 2023 race can be found under the race instructions tab.

Water will be supplied in bottles, You can either take the sports cap bottle with you or decant it into your own bottle. Please dispose of empty bottles in the bins provided just after the water station. 

Please use the litter bins at the water stations, Dropping litter on the course is an instant disqualification.

Safety Note: This is a multi-terrain route utilising footpaths, Bridleways and Open Roads.
 All roads will remain open to traffic at all times, when crossing or running along open roads, all competitors must give way to traffic and other road users, at all times.

The route Crosses the A517 , this is a busy road, stop, look and listen before deciding to cross.

A crossing point will be marked & coned. Please ensure you Stop, Look & Listen before crossing. Cars have right of way – NOT YOU.

Minor roads on this route are not only narrow or single track, but also maybe unrestricted  ‘National Speed Limit’ roads. Please bear this in mind and step aside to let motorists past.

NO headphones (including bone-conductor) whilst on the course. Competitors using headphones will be disqualified

Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer along the course, at water stations, Start & Finish areas please contact the organiser.

Belper: is a lovely historic heritage market town with boutique shops, pubs, restaurants & nice cafes. Please look for Belper Rover signs in the shops you may get a discount.

Supporters: Cars on the course can cause problems for the runners, The best ‘Hot Spot’ for supporters that does not cause problems on the course is The Bear pub & restaurant at Alderwasley DE56 2RD. The Bear serves a renowned Sunday carvery, please book in advance & mention the Belper Rover.

Refunds: There will be NO refunds or Deferrals, Number transfers can be completed via the race entry system below
